They are both great guns and which one is superior will come down to what works best for you I love my sig P229 40 and carry it. I just cant shoot the HK guns as well as the sig (HK just feels different) I suggest that you see if a local range/shop has them so you can rent/try or at least handle them before making your choice I suspect that one or the other will "feel" better

Allen, these two pistols are close enough in function/features as to be clones. What will separate the two will be the "SRT" Short Reset Trigger" on the Sig which in this case is superior to the HK's Trigger Sir.
