One question I can't seem to get answered or find the answer:  Is it necessary to have the thread adapter mounted to fire the pistol even without a suppressor?

It will work just fine without a thread protector or a suppresser but be careful you could damage the threads if you hit them on something

Craig, it is not Sir. The pistol will fire just fine without the Thread Protector attached.
