Eve, the Smith and Wesson Sport II has a "Medium" Profile. It will standup fine to firing regarding heat unless we are talking Drum Magazine dumps then even heavy barrels will glow. This rifle has a 4140 steel Barrel with a 6-groove, 1 in 9" rifling and a standard 1/2x28" threaded muzzle with a standard A2 fsash suppressor.
