Also, if the physical trigger in the picture is the one that comes on the pistol or is it the thin short reach trigger?

Brian, no Sir. This is an older Sig and does not include the "Short Reset Trigger " SRT and has the pictured "Standard" Trigger.

Only the higher end model Sigs have SRT, such as the Scorpions, Extremes, and etc.  This is a basic model.
