John, Beside the standard capacity magazine that is prohibited in NY this firearm is NY compliant. BUDs will pull the standard capacity magazine if magazine capacity is only prohibited feature on this firearm. This statement from BUDs: "That is correct. As long as the capacity is the only thing, we can pull the magazine and ship the firearm." BUDs will not replace magazine. You will have to purchase your own limited capacity restricted magazines
