Mark, yes Sir. This will fit your Marlin XT   -----   The Marlin 70835 is the XT22. It uses the same magazine as any other semi automatic or bolt action made by marlin after 1988. The bolt action rifles ship with 7 round magazines and semi autos ship with 10 round magazines. As you have the 22 long rifle version and not the 22 magnum, this magazine will work for your rifle
