Joe, Taurus 709 Slim Sir. It will really depend on your intended use ultimately. It will be more versatile overall. I would note 10 things you want out of a firearm and whichever gets the most ticks, go with that firearm.
totally different guns the Mossberg 715P is a range toy. it's fun to shoot and play with but its not a self defense gun you can not carry it. The 22lr round is not good for self defense or home protection. The Taurus is a better all around gun it is good for Concealed carry and home defense it is ok at the range the 9mm rounds are much better that the 22lr at home defense. If you just want a range toy that is inexpensive to shoot then the Mossberg is for you. if you want a effective defense gun the get the Taurus
Joe, The 709 slim is a fine carry handgun. I carry quite often. Dependable, accurate, and easy to carry. 715 sits in my safe. Played with it a couple of times. My Grandson plinks with this range toy often, By no means a carry option. 709 slim is EDC option, 715 is a plinker to enjoy and clean.
The Sig Sauer P365 … or … the Sig Sauer P320sc …. just sayin'.....but it's your money.
Well it is not an equal match. One is centerfire and the other is a rimfire 22lr. For personal defense the 9mm is better. For inexpensive fun and pest control the 22lr is awesome.
