Hi, sorry about your poor experience. I normally check the item specifications on Buds. If sparse I use the manufacturers model number (usually listed) to check the specs from the manufacturers website for more complete information. I hope this provides some help to you in the future.
I'm with James G. Check the manufacturer's websites for exact descriptions and specs. Sorry your service was disappointing. I've bought many guns from Bud's and the service has always been outstanding
Many sites that sell weapons have verbiage about the image and how it may not be 100% representative of the firearm. I get the model number and visit the manufacturer web site to insure exact specifications. I was also told, via buds, that the weapons come in new and are not opened up at the facility. Meaning, basically from the manufacturer, to buds, to you without opening the box. I certainly do understand your frustration in this matter. However, I have bought several firearms from BUDS and have had nothing but excellent customer service. I would encourage you to give BUDS a try again. BUDS consistently beats prices at other sites and seems to always represent the best value for my hard earned dollars... Thanks.
The chat feature works great for me. I was trying to buy some ammo last month or so and the program was trying to charge me for 75 lbs of freight when a brick of 22lr is under 5lbs. Almost a hundred bucks shipping lol. I went to chat and it was resolved to my complete satisfaction within a few short moments. True that; ammo is not a firearm, but I've purchased a Remington bolt rifle, S&W 15-22 and a Walther PPQ M2 9mm 5" and wouldn't buy anywhere else. New Product @ the lowest price available. THATS what Buds means to me. I'm only 35 miles away, yet still use UPS and drive myself oh about a thousand/twelve hundred feet to my favorite ffl or at worst over to Stanford, 9 miles to my other favorite ffl. I've found zero fault in Buds except maybe their Velocitors perhaps might be priced a bit on the high end of the spectrum,(LOL) BUT AS TO QUALITY FIREARMS, WE GET WHAT WE PAY FOR DON'T WE! And with Buds, what I love is that you get what you pay for, but save some dollars EVERY TIME you buy
With the thousands of guns that Buds sells I think it would be unfair to ask someone to go and take an actual pic of the weapon Stock photo is just that a generic pic.
I was impressed by the amount and quality of communication I received from Bud's and even questions about the process after an order was placed. If you consider that even a new model that has just been introduced has that disclaimer too, if you know what you want and you are unhappy with that, go to the manufacturers website to confirm the product.
They answered my question about an image quickly. the image was stock. It was the description that was correct. And I bought the gun. It matched the description.
Did you try calling them on the phone to talk to someone so you can be more specific.
I hope you try them again. I don't think you will find another company with lower prices or faster and free shipping. Honestly, this company is the place to shop for guns.
