Jock, Add a rail or a sling swivel mount to mount a bipod depending on the bipod. A buddy attached his bipod to the bayonet lug with a little customization to the bipod mount.

I'm not sure what kind of bipod you got but if it is the typical bipod then it won't work for this rifle. I have this rifle. You might need to change the hand guard.
