Justin, Just a slang term or colloquialism for putting on a finish with spray paint can (rattle can). So this Cerakote finish is intended to appear as a spray can paint job using stencils and layering the colors.
Justin, it is simply a reference to a paint/coating method. It is not the old school method of spray painting with the can you shook up with the rattle pill in it but, is only a symbolic reference.
