Weighs 7.8 pounds probably top 11 pounds with a scope and full magazine. This is a good rifle.

Teh Savage will be around 10 - 10.5 lb ready to hunt. Don;t believe either would be a bad choice.
John, Both great options. If I had to buy one I would get the Savage MSR10 Hunter just because the barrel features and quality. I feel the SA Saint Victor is overpriced.
Well Savage is new to the AR platform and they did a GREAT job. Springfield makes great products, but I would go with Savage. I've used them in 308. Awesome!
