This attaches to an included flash hider which is all that stays on the gun, the suppressor itself is removable with a quick-detach mechanism. As for installing the flash hider, I've done many myself with no issue, just remove whatever existing muzzle device you have and thread it on then tighten with a torque wrench, might also want to secure it with locktite or rockset if you have some.

Paul, Just follow the enclosed directions. The included QD mount that you install on rifle to attach suppressor just replaces existing flash hider. Easy to install. Then suppressor mounts directly on installed QD muzzle device.
