Is the ammo capacity for the Ruger Guide 30-06 3+1 or 4+1? Ruger's website indicates this gun is 4+1, along with everywhere else I see this gun listed, but the listing on Bud's indicates this gun holds 3+1. Is the model on Bud's different from the standard Ruger Guide model?

The magazine should hold 4 and you can get a +1 into the chamber by pushing those in the magazine down so the bolt doesn't pick up the top one. Ruger's website is more reliable than these descriptions that are automatically filled in, all the other chamberings of the guide gun hold only 3 due to the larger case dimensions which is probably where the mix-up originates from.

Ryan, this rifle uses a 4rd Hinged Steel Floorplate Magazine. Plus one in the pipe make it a 4 + 1.
