Robert, AL is acronym for Aluminum. Describing front forend rail. AL KM FDE-Aluminum Key mod Flat Dark Earth.

Robert, AL = Aluminum and references the Hand Guard. This is a Buds thing as even Sig Sauer does not list the AL in their Model Number here : http://www.sigsauerguns.com/sig-sauer-mpx-9-t-km-fde-sbr.html
