Craig, yes you can use Buds KY Store as your local FFL for handguns but,  only if you are a KY State resident. (You don't have to be a State resident for long guns). I would ask Buds Customer Service on how you may avoid the Credit penalty at 1-859-368-0371 9am-9pm EST Mon-Fri. or use the Blue Chat now button at the bottom right corner 9am to 9pm Mon - Sat and 9am to 7pm Sunday.
