What's difference between the different model #'s some start with an A, others U, and othis like this PG? Does that mean anything?

Max, The country of manufacture. U's are Made in the US and A/P's are Made in Austria

Max, Model numbers starting in U are USA made. Models starting in P are Austrian made. Have never seen or heard of an A model number.
