I would like to buy a black powder rifle and ship it to a FFL in IL. My FOID has an old address, but doesnt expire until 2023. My license has my current address and I have filed for a change of address on the ISP website on 7/14. Would I still be able to use my FOID to make the purchase with the FFL?

Michael, likely not. Your FOID address must be current.  Alternately, persons possessing a valid Illinois Concealed Carry License may present their valid license in lieu of the FOID card. It must be faxed or emailed to us prior to shipment.  If you have a CCW You can send to Buds at (ffl@budsgunshop.com/ Fax 800 804 5569)
