David, this will shoot heavy loads without issue. Yes it is a BlackHawk, This is a "stout" pistol built to handle "stout" loads.
Ruger's, are some of the heaviest built revolvers in the world. They will shoot any factory load.
It's a "Bisley" built on the New Model Blachawk frame (not quite as robust as the Super Blackhawk but strong enough for heavy loads) and will handle heavy loads. If you feed it a steady diet of heavy loads you may want to get a Belt Mountain Enterprises cylinder base pin that locks in and will not jump out from heavy recoil.
