Can the threaded 18" barrel, with a 1:9 rate of twist be changed to a threaded 20-24 inch barrel?
If so, is a 1:9 rate-of-twist mandatory ,will the longer barrel (if applicable) affect accuracy and require a longer Handguard ?

Joseph, if the barrel is available, it would not have any adverse effects on accuracy and the handguard would not need changing unless you just want to.
