No it would be pinned and weld right?

I own 1 and it spins right off, just like the .223/5.56 m&p

If your barrel is shorter than 16" it may be pinned and welded. If it is 16" or longer it should be removable.

I was led to believe that to be legal it has to be either pinned OR welded. Alot of folks use silver solder. All you need is a little bit of heat to remove the flash hider or muzzle devices.
