Yes, the stock handguard is held on by a delta ring. Just pull the ring back and split the two halves of the stock handguard to remove and drop the new one in its place.

Max, The delta ring assembly will accommodate any replacement fore end handguard you would install under 7" between sight/gas block and delta ring.
