That would be a good question to pose to the FFL holder themselves, I would try contacting them as it really depends on individual circumstances. The FFLs I use regularly would happily hold something for me if I asked and I assume that goes for most of them but it is worth calling ahead and asking.

Crystal, Talk to him or her. Mine is very flexible. I will leave firearms with my FFL for months and pick up 5 or 6 at a time to save on transfer fees. Your FFL should have no problem keeping your firearm safe until you get back from vacation. Just talk to them and work it out.

Crystal, most will do 30 days no issue. I would call them before hand for a heads up just to verify they will. You could always put the firearm on layaway and it will be pulled from stock immediately and you won't pay anything in fees since you can pay it off as soon as you get back from vacation. Cheers!
