This gun is the single-stack slim version of the wider M&P pistols so the doublle-stack magazine will not fit. I do not know of any aftermarket extended magazines that are larger than the 7-round magazine that comes with the gun, Best bet would probably be an extended baseplate like this (it would make the 6-round and 7-round magazine each hold 8) : https://www.opticsplanet.com/hyve-technologies-smith-wesson-m-p-shield-45-magazine-extension-base-pad.html
