Christiaan, The .224 Valkyrie started out in life as a .30 Remington/6.8 SPC case. It's basically a necked down 6.8 SPC with a .22-caliber bullet, in this case, a long and skinny .224-diameter bullet that has a high ballistic coefficient. And a 223 - 5.56NATO rifle uses a .224 caliber bullet. .22 rimfires use .223 diameter. There should be no problem using this CMMG 22 lr conversion kit on any AR 15 platform with the 224 valkyrie chambering.
