I bought two guns and understood that if I paid with an electronic check I would receive a 3% discount. When and how is this discount applied? My checking account indicate the entire amount was withdrawn from my checking account. I would have put it on my credit card.

Donald, The 3% cash discount should have been applied at checkout as you choose your payment method. Some items have the same price for cash or credit. May want to check the item you purchased and see if price was marked cash or credit under the price.
