I bought one of these Escort rifles a while back. I have not shot it yet and it is still in the box. After examining it a bit I notice that the plastic piece rear sight wobbles a bit. I was just wanting to know if this is normal or is there a way to make it more rigid so it does not wobble. My thought is that if it wobbles a bit I will not get an accurate aim when shooting.

Patrick, The rear sight should not wobble. A moving sight will effect accuracy. May want to replace sight or just mount an optic on the 3/8" grooved dovetail receiver.
