Once you select layaway - there is an "Enter Gift Card Code" window you enter code and hit update. If you are logged in, click Order Status/Account at the top screen, there should be a (view my gift cards) link to click to get your code.

If you have already made payments on the layaway item, you will actually have to call in the gift card payment.
