I have done extensive research and although I am new to AR's, I am not new to firearms. I know this rifle has a great reputation, but I am at a loss when choosing between the MP Sport 2 and the DelTon Echo 316M. Both are great rifles, but the MP Sport 2 has a Armonite finished barrel interior, the 316M does not, but the 316M has a 1x8 twist, the MP Sport has 1x9 twist, I could always buy a new chrome lined barrel for the DelTon later I guess but the MP Sport is $519.00 and the 316M is $449.00.

Christopher, the Del-ton would be my choice here Sir. The 316L has a lightweight profile Chrome Moly Vanadium Steel barrel with Manganese Phosphate finish.
