Unless it states otherwise, all factory flash hider are either pinned or welded in place. This allows them to include the hider as part of the barrel length (making it a standard rifle not an SBR).

Caleb, This barrel is threaded. The birdcage flash hider is removable with a ½ x 28 thread pitch for suppressor mounting if desired.
