They are effectively the same, however HG4871-N has a manual safety according to the Canik catalog.

LeRoy, These prices will change. Just have to decide if you want a manual thumb safety (Model 4871N) or if you want no manual safety (Model 3899GN). In a week the prices could change and the model 4871N could be cheaper.

Leroy, HG4871-N has a manual safety & 3899GN has no manual safety. Buds prices are tied to stock level and the number of each of these pistols in stock is the reason for the price difference Sir.
