it does not shoot the 357 sig cartridge (as it is set up) . you would need to install a 357 sig barrel and recoil spring the 40 S&W and the 357 sig use the same magazine so you would not need a magazine

Henry, yes Sir. The 357SIg is a necked down 40S&W Case to a 9mm Bullet. You would simply need just a 357Sig barrel. Same recoil spring and magazines so only the barrel needed and you are good to go.
