Mark, You could use just about any red dot you want. Decide on your cost. $30 to $300. What do you want to spend. Here is a link to red dot/ holographic weapon sights at BUDs.-------https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/search.php/type/Red+Dot++Holo/sort/best-selling
I have been using one of these on my 15-22 for 6 years now. The only issue I have had with it is a dead battery when I forgot to turn it off budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/711015070/panoramic+rugged+red+dot+sight+clam+packaged
Mark, I would highly recommend the Sig Romeo. It has clear glass, a sharp dot and is compact : https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/714019809/sig+romeo5+tread+red+dot+1x20+2moa
Any Sig sight will be nice! If the price is too high, Bushnell has a nice red dot sight. It also depends on how you plan to use the rifle. For close range, a red dot will be fine. For precision shooting and long range shooting, I would recommend a Leupold VX Freedom. They have rimfire specific models as well. The best thing is that they're under $200 with great quality.
