I would check with a local FFL holder ( I think it is legal) as it is NOT A SHOTGUN and I don't see any thing in the Illinois law preventing it even if it was a shotgun (some locals have shotgun restrictions that would make it illegal)

Richard, This is being sold in IL. I see it at several IL gun shops. I would check with you local LE and get a definitive answer from them. Seems like every zip code in IL has different restrictions.
