My questions about this AR are does it really shoot sub 1 inch groups at 100 yds;. and is the trigger good enough to keep for hunting, or would this AR be a lot more accurate with the trigger replaced with a Timney or Giselle? Think I murdered the spelling on the latter, I have read in my Field and Stream magazines that this is one of the best AR's on the market meaning the SD version is that the correct type we are talking about here? One more is the 300 Blackout a much better cal for accuracy?

Barry, this is the SD version.  As for accuracy, it will shoot as well and as tight as you can (see FAQs from Bushmaster.... https://www.bushmaster.com/resources/faqs ).  The factory trigger is more than acceptable for hunting or even non-professional target shooting (5.5 lb).  The accuracy difference between 300 blackout and 223 really depends on range, wind, shooter and the actual load, at 100 yards it falls mainly on the shooter and the ammo.

Barry, this will be right at 1.5 MOA accuracy but you will need to find the ammunition it likes. This rifle has a thin barrel and will have more barrel harmonics than a heavier barrel model. Accuracy will be pretty much equivalent between 300Blk and 5.56/223 with the latter having a range advantage for maximum effective range. Either trigger you suggest will improve accuracy potential without question. Shooter, rifle and ammo all play a part in overall accuracy and the operator is usually the weakest link unless you are Bob Lee Swagger of course.
