Jason, No this barrel will not convert 40 S&W to 9 mm. This a a 9 mm replacement threaded barrel for a 9 mm Sig. The barrel will wiggle in the slide barrel opening.of a 40 S&W chambered gun. It does not have the diameter to fit in 40 S&W Sig slide barrel opening. This IS NOT a conversion barrel.
