Yes, this is still CA compliant. Models with shroud/flash hiders will be affected by new law. The laws do not impact the the M1 carbine, Mini-14, M1A, and the like in the standard configuration. Brown is trying hard though.

Yes, if you want it, get it now. Although still legal, could change soon.
