From my research of Taurus this particular handgun does not come equipped with a Picatinny rail. Using the UPC code listed, I could not find any reference to this gun on the Taurus web site. Using the model # (1-917041-17) on Bud's for this gun listed as out of production on the Taurus web site. It is somewhat confusing but the image on Bud's is the same as the factory's web site image. Unless you are dead set on a hammer fired Taurus, I would suggest that you take a look at the Taurus PT111 G2 Millennium striker fired pistol. It has an excellent trigger and is nearly as good as the much higher priced Walter PPQ. I own both and although the PPQ probably has one if not the best factory produced triggers, the G2 is a very close at a significantly lower price point,.
