yes it will however it will not handle the really heavy loads like the buffalo bore for those you need the Blackhawk. the vaquero is best with the "cowboy" loads if you want to hunt with a SAA the Blackhawk is the much better choice the Blackhawk has adj sight and will handle the hottest 45lc loads in fact many reloading manuals list special "Blackhawk" only hot 45 loads

James, yes Sir. Any new Standard 45Long Colt loads will be fine in this revolver. For safety and warranty reasons, do not use +P or +P+ loads per the Manufacturer.
