Can you rack the slide when the safety is on and cocked and locked.?.Answer is NO, i just bought it and it does not allow you to rack the slide to clear a chambered round. Plus, you can only put the safety on when it's cocked all the way, not in double action, or in half cocked.

Daniel, which specific handgun Sir? Most safety's lock the slide on the majority semi-auto handguns.

Daniel, Have not seen a semi auto handgun that will rack the slide when safety is on. Everything you described is very normal.

cocked and locked is hammer back and safety on and I don't know of a single handgun that has a slide that you can rack when it is cocked and locked
