if you are asking about a center bead the sporting clays models do have a center bead and the 686 series guns have the solid rails between the barrels (as far as I know) you have to go up in series to the 691 to get the slotted rails please verify this with beretta dialing 1-800-BERETTA. 1 800 237 3882
