What's the warranty? I took it to the range for the first time today and was having great difficulty putting rounds on target, It was shooting off, I could not even hit the target with it. on the Certified preowned guns you have a 1 year sig warranty. I would try different ammo, have a friend shoot it or move your target closer until you figure out if its the gun or not contact sig at 603.610.3000 OPTION 1

Donna, this is a certified pre-owned so Sig will take care of it for you. You will need to call 603.610.3000 OPTION 1 and let them know the issue. They will likely give you an RMA # for return and checkout. Check the sights to see if they are inline with the barrel as well. Sounds like you are proficient with shooting and the issue lies with the pistol.
