Taurus 1911s including this one are series 80 firing systems

Brayden, the Taurus PT1911 is a series 80 1911 and as such has a series 80 firing pin which has notch cut in it to allow for the series 80 trigger safety parts. If you remove the series 80 parts you can leave the Taurus firing pin in or replace it with any series 70 firing pin.
