Can anyone help me with understanding how to own an SBR? I've never owned a firearm such as the Sig Sauer MPX but have wanted to for quite some time. I've read the NFA Purchase Title on your website. Can I buy the gun from you and have it transferred to an FFL dealer in Charleston, SC, or do I have to go through the process of completing my own forms, finger prints, tax stamp, etc? I've purchased other guns and had them shipped to an FFL here but SBR's are different I'm sure.

you would purchase the gun from Buds it would be shipped to the FFL he would help you with the form and all paperwork. He would keep the gun until you are approved and then transfer it to you. "If you are a local customer (Kentucky Resident), we would be happy to assist you with your Form 4 at our retail store location in Lexington, KY - Buds Gun Shop & Range.  
 
However, if you are a customer outside of Kentucky, we would have to send the NFA item to a FFL dealer in your state. Your receiving dealer would then help you complete your Form 4 and transfer the item to you. Depending on the item, it could take up to 2-3 months for your NFA item to get to your dealer (we have to receive ATF approval to send the item from us to your local dealer via a Form 3).
