I just checked their website and it says the frame is aluminum allow, but the barrel is 1215 steel. The cylinder is 12L14 steel. The one I seen has the same finish just different grips. Glad I could help. Here is the link...https://www.heritagemfg.com/product_detail.cfm?prod_id=24

Frame is aluminum but should be an enamel finish not anodized

its a alloy frame and will not pass in states with melting laws
