The 357/38 is rated for +p ammo but the 45 LC is not You can verify this by contacting Heritage at .Customer Care Call Center Tel: (305) 685-5966 Fax: (305) 687-6721 For a SAA to use "bear" loads I would go with the ruger Blackhawk it will handle the heaviest 45 LC loads on the market In fact may reloading manuals list "heavy Ruger Blackhawk" only reloads that would be unsafe in other revolvers
John, no Sir. The 45LC is not +P rated according to Heritage Arms. Doing so would present both a safety and warranty issue.
John, This revolver is not a hunting gun and is not rated for +P ammunition.
This is not rated for plus p. It will fire but you risk damage to the pistol and possible injury or death to the shooter and people around. It will also void the warranty.
