I'm not sure what kind of opinions you want. In terms of which caliber is better that is all up to you and what you plan on using the firearm for. I love the 44 magnum, but it costs a lot more to shoot than the 357 magnum. If money is not an issue then that statement doesn't matter. 357 is a screaming round and is awesome. I don't know if you'll be doing any hunting or just "plinking". The 44 magnum does have more kick to it, of course. If that's not an issue then hey.
