First let me say that if you're a security officer you might qualify as a Qualified Professional. QAs get discounts on some firearms and other items. Now to your main question. Glock are a Safe Action pistol. Though it doesn't really have an external safety, other than the piece in the trigger, it actually has 3 safety mechanisms. It has the trigger safety, firing pin safety and drop safety. Here is the link to Glock. https://us.glock.com/en/learn/glock-pistols/safe-action-system. I'm not sure what your company requires on firearms, but Glocks are carried worldwide for a reason.
Robert, the trigger bar safety is one (main one) of Glock's safeties. As long as you get a level 3 retention holster that covers the trigger, you will be fine. There are several level retention holsters that are Duty approved.
