Peter, Yes this firearm does have a magazine disconnect safety.

According to research, this firearm does have a magazine disconnect. Honestly, I prefer my guns not have that, especially my carry firearms. I don't know if you'll be concealing this great pistol, but yes magazine disconnect function is in this firearm. It will not fire without a magazine inserted. It's basically another safety, but I'm sure you know that already.
