Tod, No the grip is integral to the stock. You would have to change stock to remove the integrated pistol grip. Forearm can be replaced.

This is a yes and no answer i think. If you take off the grip it takes off the buttock too. So yes you can take it off but no you cant just take off the grip, but ultimately it can be changed.

Tod, yes Sir, there are plenty of Mossberg 500 Stock/Grip combinations available. There is bound to be something you like.
