Delmer, the trigger pull breaks cleanly at a little over five pounds with no perceptible grit.

Delmer, The S&W PC M2.0 Shield has a Trigger Pull of 6.5 pounds with a crisp trigger with lighter pull. It does get lighter as you get several boxes of ammo through it.
